Altria Group, Inc. (NYSE: MO) entered into an extension agreement on October 7, 2026, to amend its existing $3.0 billion senior unsecured revolving credit facility. The company filed a Current Report on Form 8-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to disclose the transaction, which pushes the facility's expiration date from October 24, 2029, to October 24, 2030.

The 2026 Extension Agreement modifies the terms of the original five-year revolving credit agreement dated October 24, 2023. That initial facility had already been extended once, effective July 23, 2025. Under the new terms, all other conditions of the credit agreement remain in full force and effect. The lenders identified in the filing include JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., and Citibank, N.A., serving as administrative agents alongside other named lenders.

The filing notes that some of the lenders and their affiliates maintain various relationships with Altria and its subsidiaries. These relationships involve the provision of financial services, including cash management, investment banking, and trust services. The company stated that the description of the agreement in the report is not complete and is qualified by reference to the full text of the 2026 Extension Agreement.

Altria’s common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MO. The company also has two classes of notes registered under Section 12(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934: 2.200% Notes due 2027 and 3.125% Notes due 2031, both listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The registrant is incorporated in Virginia and is headquartered at 6601 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia.

The report was signed by Mary C. Bigelow, Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Associate General Counsel, on October 9, 2026. The extension agreement itself is attached to the filing as Exhibit 10.1.
