Apple has officially launched a rebrand for Apple Music. The update introduces a new visual identity alongside a custom sound. It follows the appearance of a redesigned wordmark in a video and an updated app icon in the iOS 27.2 beta.
The new identity comprises a new logo, the updated wordmark, and a sound composed by British producer Fred Again and Nest Acoustics. In a promotional video, Apple stated that the company "wanted sound to create the visuals" for the rebrand. The footage displays the music note logo and wordmark underwater. It illustrates how the water responds to sound. The video shows the water morphing the logo and wordmark in reaction to the audio.
